    Responding to Surveys

    Surveys let businesses and editors collect structured feedback (NPS, satisfaction, or custom questions). Respondents can complete them on any device without signing in.

    How survey links work

    • Every survey is shared as /survey/<survey-id>. When you open the link we load the active survey and validate it before showing questions.
    • If the survey is paused or missing, you'll see an Unavailable message instead of a form.

    Question types you may see

    • Rating (1–5) with stars and inline score.
    • Scale (1–10) for NPS-style scoring with end-labels like “Not likely” and “Very likely”.
    • Multiple choice and Yes/No radio options.
    • Text areas for open feedback.
    • Email or Phone inputs when contact follow-up is needed.

    Providing contact details

    • Optional name and email fields sit above the questions. Some surveys require an email—if so, you'll be prompted to add it before submitting.
    • We also extract contact info from relevant questions (e.g., an email-type question) to help the team reach back with support or offers.

    Submitting your response

    • Required questions are marked with an asterisk. If anything is missing you'll see an inline error before the form submits.
    • On submit we calculate any NPS/satisfaction scores, store the response, and show a confirmation screen. Some surveys redirect you to a thank-you or promo link a few seconds after submission.
    • If submission fails, you'll get a clear error message—retry after checking your connection or contact support with the survey link.
