Browsing Topics

The Community Forums are a place to discuss various subjects, ask questions, and share insights with other Streamline Feed users.

Accessing the Forums

You can access the main forums page by clicking the "Forums" link in the main header navigation, or by visiting /forums directly.

Browsing Discussions

The forums page displays discussion topics in a list format. You can browse them in a few ways:

  • All Topics: By default, the page shows all approved topics across all categories, sorted by the most recently created.
  • Filtering by Category: Above the topic list, you'll find a list of forum categories (e.g., "General Discussion", "Feedback", "Support"). Clicking a category name will filter the list to show only topics belonging to that category. The "All" tab shows topics from every category.

Understanding Topic Listings

Each topic in the list provides a summary:

  • Category Badge: The category the topic belongs to.
  • Time Posted: How long ago the topic was created.
  • Title: The main subject of the discussion. Clicking the title takes you to the full topic page.
  • Excerpt: A short preview of the initial post content.
  • Author: The user who started the topic, including their avatar and name.
  • Stats: The number of replies and views the topic has received.

Reading a Topic

To read the full discussion, including the original post and all replies, click on the topic title in the list. This will navigate you to the dedicated page for that specific topic (e.g., /forums/your-topic-slug). See the Replying to Topics guide for details on the topic page layout.

You can also use the main site Search function to find forum topics.
