Managing Your Job Postings

After you've posted jobs on Streamline Feed, you can manage them through your profile page. This includes viewing their status, editing details (if allowed by the platform rules and job status), and deleting them.

Accessing "My Jobs"

  1. Navigate to your Profile page (accessible from the user menu in the header when you are logged in).
  2. Click on the "My Jobs" tab.

This tab displays a list of all job postings you have created.

Understanding Your Job Postings List

Each job posting in the "My Jobs" list will typically show:

  • Job Title: (Linked to the public job details page if active).
  • Company Name: The name of the hiring company.
  • Location: The location of the job.
  • Job Type: (e.g., Full-time, Part-time).
  • Status: The current status of your job posting (e.g., "Pending Approval", "Active", "Expired", "Filled", "Rejected").
  • Posted Date: When you originally submitted the job posting.
  • Management Buttons: "Edit" (if applicable) and "Delete".

Editing a Job Posting

Depending on the job's status and platform policies, you might be able to edit your submitted job postings.

  • If an "Edit" button is available for a job, clicking it will take you to an edit form pre-filled with the job's current details.
  • (Note: The specific conditions under which a job can be edited, and the availability of a job editing page (e.g., /jobs/edit/[jobId]), depend on the platform's implementation. An edit feature for jobs might be added in the future.)
  • Make your necessary changes and save them. Changes might require re-approval by administrators.

Deleting a Job Posting

If you need to remove a job posting (e.g., the position has been filled, or it was posted in error):

  1. Find the job posting in your "My Jobs" list.
  2. Click the "Delete" button associated with that job.
  3. A confirmation dialog will appear to ensure you want to permanently delete the job posting.
  4. Confirm the deletion. The job posting will be removed from your list and, if it was live, from public listings.

Note: Deleting a job posting is usually a permanent action.

Keeping your job postings accurate and up-to-date helps provide the best experience for job seekers on the platform.
