Submitting Citizen Reports
Streamline Feed encourages users to contribute by submitting news tips, eyewitness accounts, or stories they believe are newsworthy. This is done through the Citizen Report submission system.
Accessing the Report Submission Form
To submit a report, you must be logged in. You can find a "Submit Report" or "Report News" link, often in the main navigation or user menu, which will take you to the submission form, typically at /report-news.
Filling Out the Report Form
Provide as much accurate and detailed information as possible to help our editorial team assess your submission. Key fields include:
- Title: (Required) A clear, concise headline for your report.
- Content: (Required) The full details of your report. Describe what happened, when, where, and who was involved. Be factual and provide as much context as possible.
- Category: (Required) Select the most relevant news category for your report (e.g., Local News, Politics, Sports).
- Location: (Required) The primary location where the event or subject of your report occurred.
- Media URL (Optional): If you have a link to an image or video (e.g., hosted on YouTube, Vimeo, Imgur) that supports your report, you can include it here. Please ensure you have the rights to share any media you link.

What Happens Next?
Our editorial team or administrators will review your submission. Based on its newsworthiness, accuracy, and adherence to our guidelines, it may be:
- Approved for further investigation: Our journalists might follow up on your tip.
- Converted into a news article: If your report is comprehensive and verified, it might be edited and published as a news article (you may or may not be credited, depending on platform policy and your preferences).
- Rejected: If the report is deemed unsuitable, inaccurate, spam, or outside our scope.
You can track the status of your submitted reports on your profile page under the "My Reports" tab.
