    Using Notifications

    Streamline now delivers real-time alerts for job activity, business and place reviews, event reminders, forum replies, payments, and system updates. You can quickly skim updates from the header bell or manage the full inbox on the dedicated notifications page.

    Where to see notifications

    • Header bell: Opens a dropdown with your 10 latest alerts, unread badge counts, and quick actions to mark items as read or delete them.
    • Notifications hub: Visit /notifications (you'll be redirected to sign in if needed) for the full history, richer filters, and bulk actions.

    Filtering and finding the right alerts

    • Switch between All, Unread, and Read tabs to focus on what needs attention.
    • Use the search bar to match text in notification titles or bodies.
    • Filter by type (e.g., job application status, forum reply, payment confirmation, event reminder) orpriority (urgent, high, normal, low).
    • Hit Refresh if you want to manually re-sync; new notifications also stream in automatically from Supabase.

    Managing notifications

    • Mark as read: Use the check icon on a notification or click Mark All Read to clear everything at once.
    • Delete: Remove individual items you don't need to keep; unread counts update automatically.
    • Follow through: Many alerts include a View details link that takes you straight to the related job, event, payment, or discussion thread.

    Troubleshooting

    • Make sure you're signed in; notifications are tied to your user account.
    • If you don't see expected alerts, use the Refresh button and confirm your filters aren't hiding items.
    • Payments and feature activations also send notifications—check the Payment type filter when reconciling transactions.
