Tracking Your Submitted Reports

After you submit a citizen report through Streamline Feed, you can track its status and see if it has been actioned by our editorial team or administrators. This is done via your profile page.

Accessing "My Reports"

  1. Navigate to your Profile page (accessible from the user menu in the header when you are logged in).
  2. Click on the "My Reports" tab.

This tab displays a list of all citizen reports you have submitted.

Understanding Your Report List

Each report in the "My Reports" list will typically show:

  • Title/Excerpt: The title you provided for your report, or a short excerpt of the content if no title was given.
  • Submission Date: When you originally submitted the report, often displayed as "X time ago".
  • Status: The current status of your submission. Common statuses include:
    • Pending Review: Your report has been received and is awaiting review by the moderation team.
    • Approved: Your report has been reviewed and deemed valuable. It may be under further investigation or consideration by the editorial team.
    • Rejected: Your report was reviewed but not accepted (e.g., due to unverifiable information, not meeting guidelines, or being outside the platform's scope).
    • Published as Article: Your report (or the information within it) was used to create a news article. If this is the case, there will usually be a direct link to the published article.
  • Link to Published Article: If your report was approved and resulted in a news article, a button or link like "View Published Article" will appear, taking you directly to it.

What You Can Do

Currently, the "My Reports" tab is primarily for viewing the status of your submissions. Direct editing or deletion of submitted reports by users is generally not available after submission, as they enter a moderation workflow.

  • If you have significant updates or corrections to a report you've submitted, it's best to contact the platform administrators or support team.
  • If your report is published as an article, you can engage with it like any other news article (e.g., read, share).
