George Natembeya is the Governor of Trans Nzoia County, elected in 2022. He had a long and distinguished career in public administration before joining politics, rising through the ranks to become the Rift Valley Regional Commissioner, a position he resigned from to run for governor. He holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Nairobi.
