John Mbadi is a career accountant and politician serving as the Cabinet Secretary for National Treasury and Economic Planning. He previously served as an opposition Member of Parliament and as a National Assembly Majority Leader. Mbadi was nominated to this post in 2024 as part of a bipartisan Cabinet expansion.
