William Kabogo Gitau is a former two-term Governor of Kiambu County (2013–2022) and former Member of Parliament (Juja). He is credited with digitizing Kiambu's revenue system as governor.

He attended St. George's Ruiru Primary School and then continued his studies at Thika Technical School from 1975 to 1978. Afterward, he pursued a Bachelor of Commerce degree at Punjab University in India.
