Muhoho Kenyatta (born c. 1964) is the son of Kenya’s founding president Jomo Kenyatta and Mama Ngina Kenyatta, and brother to former president Uhuru Kenyatta. Educated at St. Mary’s School, Nairobi, and Williams College (BA), he is the executive chairman and CEO of Brookside Dairy, widely described as East Africa’s largest dairy processor. Under his leadership Brookside has expanded regionally and partnered with Danone, which acquired a 40% stake in 2014; recent moves include product upgrades and hospitality-sector partnerships, plus higher farmer payouts reported in 2024–2025. Beyond Brookside, Kenyatta is the low-profile steward of the family’s portfolio across banking, media, and hospitality. He previously served as deputy chairman of Commercial Bank of Africa before its 2019 merger into NCBA Group; the family remains a major NCBA shareholder, and their wider interests include Mediamax Network and Heritage Hotels East Africa. He was also named in the 2021 Pandora Papers investigations examining offshore holdings linked to members of the Kenyatta family, including reporting that one company tied to him held about $31.6 million in cash, stocks, and bonds in 2016.
