Harry Edward Kane (born 28 July 1993) is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Bundesliga club Bayern Munich and captains the England national team. He is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, known for his prolific goalscoring and exceptional link-up play. He is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham Hotspur and the England national team. Kane left Tottenham in 2023 to join Bayern Munich in search of trophies. In his debut season, he broke the record for most goals by a debutant in Bundesliga history and won the European Golden Shoe (36 league goals). However, Bayern famously went trophyless that season (the "Kane Curse"). In the 2025/26 season, he finally broke his duck, winning the Bundesliga and the DFB-Pokal. Kane captained England to back-to-back European Championship finals (2021, 2024) but lost both, a source of major professional heartbreak. He is also a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE).
