Ferdinand Omanyala Omurwa (born 2 January 1996) is a Kenyan sprinter specializing in the 100 metres and 200 metres. He is the current African record holder and the 9th fastest man of all time in the 100 metres after clocking a time of 9.77 seconds. Omanyala is a two-time African Champion and the reigning Commonwealth Games champion in the 100m. He broke the national record multiple times and became the first Kenyan to reach an Olympic semi-final in the 100m.
