Founded in 2007 by Els Breet Kamande and the late Kamande Njenga, Mlango Farm is a 20-acre organic oasis in Thingati A, Ngecha (Limuru) about 45 minutes from Nairobi. What began as neglected family land now grows dozens of crops and fruit trees under sustainable, chemical-free practices. Visitors come for guided farm walks, birding, vegetable harvesting, and hands-on learning rooted in permaculture. The farm runs family day trips, school visits, team-building days, and cooking classes; some days offer simple vegetarian/vegan lunches by prior arrangement. Bookings and directions are provided on their site. Contacts: +254 728 848 296, +254 702 634 572, info@mlango.org; Address: Thingati A, Ngecha, Limuru.
