Samuel Chepkonga is a lawyer and the Member of Parliament for Ainabkoi. He regained his seat in 2022 after losing it in 2017. A close legislative ally of President William Ruto, Chepkonga previously chaired the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee (JLAC) in the 11th Parliament and is currently the Chairperson of the Committee on Delegated Legislation. He is a key drafter of government-backed bills.
