Peter Gregory Obi (born 19 July 1961) is a Nigerian politician and businessman who serves as the national leader of the Labour Party. He was the breakout star of the 2023 presidential election, mobilizing a massive youth movement known as the "Obidients" that challenged the traditional two-party system. A former Governor of Anambra State, he is known for his frugal management style and advocacy for cutting the cost of governance.
