Nodirbek Abdusattorov (born 18 September 2004) is an Uzbek chess grandmaster. He shocked the world in 2021 by becoming the World Rapid Chess Champion at age 17, defeating Magnus Carlsen and Ian Nepomniachtchi in the process. He led the young Uzbekistan team to a historic Gold Medal at the 2022 Chess Olympiad. Abdusattorov is known for his "Iceman" demeanor—he rarely shows emotion and plays with machine-like precision.
