Mutula Kilonzo Junior is the Governor of Makueni County, elected in 2022. He is a lawyer by profession and previously served as the Senator for Makueni County for two terms, from 2013 to 2022, a seat he first won in a by-election following the death of his father, Mutula Kilonzo.
