Ida Betty Odinga (née Anyango Oyoo; born 24 August 1950) is a Kenyan educator, activist, and businesswoman. She is the widow of former Kenyan Prime Minister Raila Odinga. She worked as a teacher at The Kenya High School for over 20 years but was expelled from her job by the Moi regime due to her husband's political activism. In 1991, she founded the League of Kenya Women Voters (LKWV) to promote female participation in politics. In 2003, she became the Managing Director of East African Spectre, a major gas cylinder manufacturing company. She is a prominent advocate for women's health, education, and mentorship.
