Biography
FCPA Fernandes Barasa is the Governor of Kakamega County, elected in 2022. He is a Fellow of the Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (FCPA) with a PhD in Accounting and Finance. Prior to becoming governor, he was the Managing Director and CEO of the Kenya Electricity Transmission Company (KETRACO) and held senior finance roles at Kenya Airways and KTDA.
