Amos Kimwomi Nyaribo is the Governor of Nyamira County. He first assumed office in December 2020 after the passing of the first governor, John Nyagarama, for whom he served as Deputy Governor since 2013. He was then elected for his first full term in the 2022 general elections. He has a background in public administration and finance.
