Kenya Dismisses Claims of Foreign Jubaland Troops in Mandera, Citing Fleeing Refugees
Kenya’s government, through Interior CS Kipchumba Murkomen, has refuted reports that Somalia’s Jubaland troops are inside Mandera County. Murkomen says those crossing the border are civilian refugees, even as Mandera leaders warn that alleged foreign fighters have disrupted local life.
