Biography

Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen is a prominent Kenyan lawyer and politician. He was elected as the Senator for Elgeyo Marakwet County for three consecutive terms (2013, 2017, 2022). He resigned in 2022 upon his appointment as the Cabinet Secretary for Roads, Transport, and Public Works. He previously served as the Senate Majority Leader.
