Michael Olunga (born 26 March 1994) is a Kenyan professional footballer who plays as a striker for Qatar Stars League club Al-Duhail and captains the Kenya national team (Harambee Stars). Known as "The Engineer" due to his engineering studies, Olunga has played professionally in Sweden, China, Spain (Girona FC), and Japan, where he was the J1 League's Most Valuable Player and Top Scorer in 2020. He is widely regarded as one of Kenya's best modern strikers.
