Hakainde Hichilema (born 4 June 1962), often known as "HH", is the 7th President of Zambia, serving since August 2021. A wealthy businessman and cattle rancher, he ran for president five times before finally winning in a landslide. His victory was celebrated as a triumph for democracy.
