Biography

Gideon Maitha Mung'aro is the Governor of Kilifi County, elected in 2022. A veteran politician, he has an extensive career that includes serving as the Member of Parliament for Kilifi North Constituency (2013-2017) and as the former Mayor of Malindi. In Parliament, he held the position of Chief Whip for the CORD coalition.
