Feisal Abdallah Bader is the Member of Parliament for Msambweni. He first rose to national fame by winning the hotly contested December 2020 by-election as an independent candidate backed by then-Deputy President William Ruto, defeating the ODM candidate in a perceived stronghold. He was re-elected in 2022 on a UDA ticket. Bader is a key pillar of the UDA party in Kwale County. He is related to the late MP Suleiman Dori, whose death triggered the by-election. In parliament, he focuses on land rights issues affecting Msambweni residents and the mining sector (Base Titanium).
