The upcoming Sirikwa Classic cross-country meet in Eldoret, scheduled for February 22, 2025, is set to feature one of Kenya's brightest athletic stars. Athletics Kenya proudly announced that Agnes Jebet, the current world-record holder for the women’s 10km road race (an astonishing 28:46), will be headlining the prestigious event.
Jebet expressed her enthusiasm about participating, stating that returning to a competitive domestic race provides a “perfect opportunity” to fine-tune her preparations for the upcoming international season.
