Boniface Mwangi accuses government officials of violating the constitution by serving President Ruto’s interests instead of the public, terming the civil service "compromised."

Activist and 2027 presidential hopeful Boniface Mwangi has launched a blistering attack on the civil service, accusing top government officials of abandoning their constitutional oath to serve the public in favor of blind "sycophancy" to President William Ruto.
In a televised interview that has set social media alight, Mwangi argued that the machinery of the state has been weaponized to serve one man's political survival rather than the nation's interest. His comments come amidst growing criticism of the police and administration officials engaging in partisan politics.
"This country has laws that do not work," Mwangi declared, visibly agitated. [...](asc_slot://start-slot-3)"We have officials who prioritize political allegiance over national interest. They do not serve you; they serve the President." He cited the recent partisan conduct of the police in Othaya as proof that the "state" has been swallowed by the "regime."
Mwangi also ridiculed the recent wave of "State House delegations," dismissing them as a waste of taxpayer money designed to buy loyalty with "tea and mandazi."
As Mwangi positions himself for a 2027 run, his rhetoric is clearly tapping into a vein of public frustration with a government seen as increasingly insular and obsessed with its own survival.
