UCDA also spearheads the "National Coffee Roadmap," which aims to increase production to 20 million bags annually through aggressive seedling distribution and farmer training. Beyond regulation, UCDA is a profound driver of value-addition and domestic coffee consumption. They support local coffee roasters and baristas, aiming to transform Uganda from a raw commodity exporter into a producer of finished, branded coffee products.
