Issa Abdalla Timamy is the Governor of Lamu County, currently serving his second non-consecutive term after being re-elected in 2022. He was the first Governor of Lamu from 2013 to 2017. A lawyer by profession with a degree from the University of Nairobi, he previously served as the chairman of the Board of Directors for the National Museums of Kenya before venturing into politics.
