Carlos Vila Nova (born 27 July 1959) is the President of São Tomé and Príncipe, serving since October 2021. A former Minister of Infrastructure and Tourism, he won the election on the ticket of the ADI party. His role is largely non-executive but influential in a semi-presidential system prone to political instability and coalition governments.
