Activist Morara Kebaso blames voter apathy and ignorance for bad leadership, launching a nationwide civic education campaign to change voting patterns before 2027.

Activist Morara Kebaso has turned his guns on the Kenyan voter. In a blistering address that has gone viral on social media, the civic educator argued that politicians are merely symptoms of a diseased electorate. "If you sell your vote for Sh200, you have no right to demand better hospitals," Kebaso declared, announcing a nationwide civic education tour ahead of 2027.
Speaking on the popular Thee Alfa House platform, Kebaso warned that the 2027 election is already being lost due to apathy and ignorance. He cited the low voter registration numbers among the youth—the so-called "Gen Z"—as a ticking time bomb. "We have the numbers to fire every corrupt leader," he said, "but we lack the architecture to deploy that power."
Kebaso’s movement aims to tackle the rural voting patterns where tribal loyalty often trumps accountability. He challenged the youth to stop being "keyboard warriors" and start organizing in the villages.
As the political drums begin to beat, Kebaso is positioning himself not just as a critic, but as a teacher. His lesson? Democracy is not a spectator sport, and the price of indifference is another five years of plunder.
