President Trump claims without evidence that ICE shooting victim Renee Good was a "paid agitator," contradicting video footage and escalating tensions in Minneapolis.

President Donald Trump has endorsed a conspiracy theory that Renee Nicole Good, the Minneapolis woman shot dead by an ICE agent, was part of a "leftwing network" of paid provocateurs. The claim flies in the face of video evidence showing Good as a calm, compliant citizen moments before her death.
Speaking at the White House, Trump seized on a background voice in the viral video screaming "Shame!" to justify his theory. "She was a professional troublemaker," Trump said. "Only a paid agitator screams like that."
The video, filmed by the agent himself, contradicts the President. Good is seen sitting in her car, telling the officer, "I'm not mad at you." There is no weapon, no aggression, and no "network" visible.
By branding a victim of state violence as a "terrorist" or "agitator," the administration is creating a permission structure for future violence. If every protester is a "paid enemy," then any force used against them is justified.
