Ruto's Aide Warns Protest Financiers: "Your Efforts Will Not Succeed"

Taita Taveta County, Kenya – Government Sends Stern Warning to Protest Financiers, Reaffirms Commitment to Unity

The administration of President William Ruto has issued a forceful rebuke to the alleged financiers of recent violent protests, asserting that any efforts to destabilize the country will be met with firm resistance. The message was delivered during a women’s empowerment forum held on July 3 in Taita Taveta County, where senior government officials underscored the need for national cohesion and economic progress.

Speaking at the event, Farouk Kibet, a key political aide to the President, condemned those allegedly bankrolling unrest, urging them to instead invest in women-led businesses and community development.

“Those using their money to fund violent protests will not succeed,” Farouk declared.
“We will not allow violence to destabilize this government. We will serve Kenyans across the divide regardless of their tribe. We are one Kenya.”

His remarks echoed the government’s broader narrative of inclusive service delivery and national unity, as tensions continue to simmer in the wake of recent demonstrations.

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki, also present at the forum, outlined a series of major development projects earmarked for the region. These include road construction, affordable housing, and other infrastructure investments designed to stimulate economic growth and improve livelihoods in Taita Taveta and beyond.

The event concluded with a collective pledge from national and local leaders to stand firm in the face of political turbulence, reaffirming their commitment to unity, peace, and inclusive development.

As the country navigates a delicate political climate, the administration’s message was unequivocal: Kenya’s progress will not be derailed by acts of violence or division.
