Nyeri, Kenya – The Ministry of Culture, Heritage, and the Arts has officially announced that the Nyeri War Memorial, a significant landmark honoring colonial-era war heroes and commemorating key historical events, has been declared a national heritage site. Minister Dr. Salome Kikwete stated that this important designation will ensure the long-term protection and preservation of the monument and will significantly promote historical education and awareness among Kenyans and visitors alike.
