The conference aims to equip the global Kenyan community with spiritual and practical tools amid rising economic and social pressures, featuring U.S.-based Bishop Dr. Armstrong Cheggeh.

GLOBAL – A fellowship of Kenyan clergy based in the diaspora has announced a global virtual conference scheduled for Monday, December 8, 2025, aimed at addressing the escalating challenges facing communities worldwide. The Kenya Diaspora Clergy Fellowship (KDCF) will host the event under the theme, “Navigating Turbulence With Integrity,” providing a platform for spiritual guidance and community networking.
The event is scheduled to begin at 3:00 AM East Africa Time (EAT), which corresponds to 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST) on Sunday, December 7, 2025. This timing underscores the fellowship's international base and its effort to connect with Kenyans across different time zones.
The featured speaker is Bishop Dr. Armstrong Cheggeh, a Kenyan-born cleric who is the presiding bishop of the Fountain of Life Churches, an international fellowship with over 400 churches primarily in East Africa. Dr. Cheggeh, who is based in Kentucky, USA, has an extensive academic background with degrees from institutions in the U.S. and Kenya, including a Doctor of Ministry from Asbury Theological Seminary. His ministry has focused on church planting, leadership development, and evangelistic work in Africa, the USA, and Canada.
The conference's theme, “Navigating Turbulence,” points to a range of contemporary issues, including financial strain, leadership challenges, and global instability that affect individuals and families both in Kenya and abroad. The KDCF stated the event aims to empower attendees with biblical wisdom to make ethical decisions and maintain integrity during difficult periods.
The Kenya Diaspora Clergy Fellowship (KDCF) was established to foster unity and maximize the potential of Kenyan clergy serving outside the country. According to its mission, the organization provides a network for spiritual support, professional development, and social connection. The KDCF also engages in advocacy, stating one of its objectives is to lobby the Kenyan government on issues pertinent to the diaspora, such as access to consular services and participation in voting processes.
This conference represents a key initiative for the KDCF to minister to the spiritual and social needs of the broader Kenyan diaspora community. The virtual format allows for wide participation, connecting Kenyans who may be geographically isolated but share common cultural and spiritual roots. The event is open to all, including clergy, community leaders, and the general public seeking encouragement and guidance.
The conference will be held via Zoom and is free to attend. Further details, including the direct link to the meeting, have been circulated by the organizers. The program intends to feature inspiring testimonies alongside Bishop Cheggeh's keynote address, focusing on resilience and faith.
