Kenya completes stadium renovations and tightens security as it gears up to co-host the 2025 CHAN football tournament with Uganda and Tanzania.
Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani has been fully refurbished and officially handed over to the CHAN Local Organising Committee. It will host key fixtures, including the final on August 30, 2025 .
Nyayo National Stadium, now seating approximately 18,000, underwent extensive renovations in 2024 and was handed over in mid‑July. The upgrades include upgraded floodlighting (3,000 lux), VAR installation, CCTV expansion, improved athlete facilities, and media capacity enhancements—making it fully compliant with CAF standards .
