Nairobi, Kenya — 2025-09-15 18:10 EAT. The Kenyan government has endorsed a joint statement by the Quad nations — Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States — calling for a negotiated solution to the ongoing conflict in Sudan.
Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi described the initiative as “timely and necessary,” urging all parties to embrace a unified approach to end the fighting.
Kenya reaffirmed its position that no military solution can resolve the Sudanese crisis and backed political dialogue as the only viable path to peace.
