Digital Tools and Anti-Corruption Measures

This year's recruitment has been notable for its increased reliance on technology to curb corruption and ensure fairness. The KDF deployed a digital Recruitment Management System for biometric data capture and document scanning, a move designed to eliminate the use of fraudulent calling letters and minimize human manipulation. Speaking in Murang'a earlier in the week, Senior Recruiting Officer Gabriel Kotikot confirmed the system manages the entire workflow, from application to the automated selection of successful candidates, who are then notified via email and SMS. For instance, GSO Cadets and General Duty Recruits must be between 18 and 26 years old.
