How to Change a Flat Tire Like a Pro

Step 1: Pull Over Safely

Lower the car partway until the tire touches the ground but the car’s weight isn’t fully on it. Then tighten the lug nuts in a star pattern to ensure even pressure. Once done, fully lower the car and give the nuts a final, firm tightening.

Step 8: Pack Up and Follow Up
