The US House Oversight Committee has released a visual dossier linking the disgraced financier to the world’s most powerful men, reigniting demands for transparency.

The veil of secrecy surrounding Jeffrey Epstein’s high-profile network slipped further Friday as US House Democrats released a trove of photographs placing the disgraced financier alongside world leaders and tech titans.
Released by the House Oversight Committee, these images—featuring Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and Bill Gates—reignite questions about the depth of relationships between the global elite and the convicted sex offender, a saga that continues to demand accountability years after his death.
The release, spearheaded by Ranking Member Robert Garcia, includes an initial batch of 19 photographs followed by a subsequent dump of 70 images. While some figures have long been associated with Epstein, the visual confirmation of their social intimacy remains jarring.
Among those captured in the frame are figures with significant footprints in Kenya and the wider region:
Also featured prominently is Steve Bannon, Donald Trump’s former political strategist. Three images show Bannon in social settings, including two directly with Epstein and one alongside film director Woody Allen.
Beyond the celebrity cameos, the cache offers a disturbing glimpse into the infrastructure of Epstein’s private world. The photos document construction work on his private island and include images of a yellow dentist’s office—a location that has previously appeared in evidence regarding alleged abuse.
The committee also released bizarre imagery, including a pumpkin decorated as Donald Trump (dubbed a “Trumpkin”) and Epstein himself in a bathtub. These 89 images represent a fraction of the nearly 100,000 documents and photos provided to the committee, which is probing why federal prosecutors initially offered Epstein a lenient plea deal years before his 2019 death in a New York jail.
Robert Garcia, the California Democrat leading the release, emphasized that while the photos were provided without captions, they challenge the narrative that these associations were merely professional or fleeting. For Kenyan observers, the story resonates with a familiar theme: the ability of the ultra-wealthy to operate with perceived impunity.
As the investigation continues, the visual evidence serves as a stark reminder to the public. Money and power—Epstein’s estate was valued at over $600 million (approx. KES 78 billion)—often buy access, but as these leaks prove, they can no longer buy total silence.
