Bidco United coach Anthony Akhulia blames a lack of belief and concentration for a late collapse that saw his struggling side draw 1-1 with Kenya Police.

Bidco United head coach Anthony Akhulia has launched a scathing assessment of his team’s mental fragility after they surrendered a late lead to draw 1-1 with Kenya Police.
The Thika-based side appeared destined for a crucial victory in their battle against relegation when Victor Kunyili fired them ahead in the 85th minute. However, the celebrations were short-lived as a lapse in concentration allowed Yves Kuotiama to snatch a heartbreaking equalizer for the Law Enforcers deep into stoppage time, leaving Bidco to rue another two points dropped.
For Akhulia, this script is becoming all too familiar. It marks the third consecutive match where Bidco has crumbled in the dying moments, following similar late collapses against Murang'a Seal and Gor Mahia. The coach did not mince his words:
The result at the Police Sacco Stadium was a bitter pill to swallow for a team that played with heart but lacked the requisite steel to cross the finish line. Akhulia knows that if they are to survive the drop, they must find a cure for their late-game jitters immediately.
"We cannot keep giving gifts to our opponents," the coach concluded. Unless Bidco toughens up, their stay in the top flight could be coming to an unceremonious end.
