The skies over Eastern Europe have become the ultimate testing ground for the future of combat. Swarms of intelligent, autonomous machines now dictate the pace of a grinding war of attrition.

For nations across the globe, including East African defense forces, the lessons from Ukraine are a stark warning: modern warfare is no longer defined by heavy armor, but by agile, hyper-connected unmanned systems.

The 20-Kilometer Kill Zone

Drones are now responsible for an estimated 80 percent of battlefield damage in Ukraine.
