About the role:
As an HR Intern at AHN Kenya, you will provide administrative and operational support to the HR team in a dynamic, mission-driven healthcare environment.
Key duties:
- Maintain up-to-date personnel files and support recruitment, interviewing and onboarding activities.
- Coordinate staff training sessions, induction programs and employee-engagement initiatives.
- Prepare and update HR reports, trackers and basic analytics for decision-making.
- Support performance-management cycles, including tracking probation and contract end dates.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with employment laws, HR policies and organizational procedures.
- Provide support in payroll preparation and benefits administration as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- At least one year of HR experience (internship or entry-level role) is an added advantage.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and Word and strong organizational skills.
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
