NMK Science Expo 2025

The National Museums of Kenya (NMK) is set to host the NMK Science Expo 2025 from June 18th to 20th, 2025, at the Nairobi National Museum. Themed “Economic Transformation Through Heritage Conservation,” this expo aims to showcase how Kenya's rich heritage can be a catalyst for innovation, sustainability, and enterprise across various crucial sectors. The event will run daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. \n\nThe expo will explore five key sub-themes: Agricultural Transformation, demonstrating how traditional knowledge and biodiversity can inform modern farming; Digital Technologies, highlighting the role of tech in preserving and promoting heritage; Environment & Climate Change, focusing on heritage-based solutions for environmental challenges; Tourism & Enterprise, exploring heritage sites as drivers of tourism and local economies; and One Health, examining the intersection of human, animal, and environmental health from a heritage perspective. Attendees can expect a vibrant platform featuring exhibitor booths that display research findings, innovative products, and sustainable solutions aligning with Kenya’s development agenda, all viewed through the lens of heritage conservation. \n\nThe NMK Science Expo 2025 targets a diverse audience, including researchers, innovators, entrepreneurs, students, and the general public.
