The International Life Saving Federation brings the Lifesaving World Championships back to South Africa for the first time in more than 30 years. Scheduled for 25 November to 13 December 2026 in Nelson Mandela Bay (Port Elizabeth), the championships will attract between 3,500 and 6,000 athletes from around the world who will compete in pool, ocean and beach disciplines while celebrating lifesaving skills and camaraderie.
